Dynamis Night - 01

Ok. Tuesday's and Saturday's are Dynamis night. A few weeks ago Aiden, a Paladin in the Linkshell invited Findecano and I into a new Dynamis Linkshell. We have been doing them, with some regularity, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. That is how Findecano, Xandora, Zilana, and I became so close. I don’t know what happens on Dynamis night but they are nothing short of complete fun. Now we do have an occasional snag with some of the other people in the Dynamis LS, but all in all its good fun. What happens in Dynamis... stays in Dynamis. We will get more into what happen on this Dynamis night, but first, the pregame!

Yesterday, FRIDAY the 13th!. Fin, Xan and I made 72 which was really cool because that means we only have 3 more lv to go till we are 75! After we lved for a bit we were asked to help with a NM in the Tonberry Temple near Norg by Stodya. Kissfan came along with us to help. It was the first time Xan had ever seen him. She says he looks like a big teddy bear. We had some fun before going in. Before going to the Temple I came across a chest in Sea Serpents Grotto and tried to pick the lock, only for it to be weakness trapped. I hate being weakened... its so, well WEAK! Now I can deal with the normal 5 min weakness that comes after being KOed but not this hour long crap I was dealing with. To remedy the situation I KOed my self by getting naked and attacking a bunch of Tonberrys. Problem solved. Well, I don’t know if was because it was Friday the 13th or what but our adventure in the Temple was a mess. We formed an alliance with another group of people who decided to take a different route than us. Once we finally caught up I needed to step away for a min. When I get back most of the other party is dead and my party is trying to fix the problem. We get another agro and said screw it and escaped. Come back a different day I guess.

This morning - Time till Dynamis starts - 12 hours. Seeing that we just lved to 72 the day before and Dynamis can be a real pain on the Exp we decided to get a buffer. It took us a couple of hours but we each got about 10k buffer which is more than enough for Dynamis.

This afternoon - Time till Dynamis starts - 6 hours. We made plans and did research a couple of days ago to try a KSNM. Operation Desert Swarm. 6 people against 6 scorpions. The more we kill the tougher they get. After doing a couple of shouts we were able to put together the perfect party. RDM, THF, DRG, BLM, NIN, and WHM. I am grateful to say we went 6/6 on this. Only a couple of loss' but by the end we had the system down pat. I got a decent belt and dagger, the Heart Snatcher. These were good perks but the day was unsuccessful. We were after an item needed to make Scorpion Harness which Fin and I want. None dropped for anyone. Xan also had a stream of bad luck when she zoned before collecting her items. We don’t have plans to do KSNM's again soon, but we will do them again I think.

This evening - Time till Dynamis starts - 1 hour. Before Dynamis starts we all gather together at a meeting place. This is usually the funniest part of the night and can really set the mood for the rest of the night. Its always filled with ass grabbing fun, and is never complete until I am chasing Fin in some very short sublingers, poke a few rumps, make fun of Dynamis LS leadership, and molest Zil.

DYNAMIS!!!!!! - Now this may seem disappointing but Dynamis is actually kind of boring after it starts. Keithe, Thf puller, usually moves us from spot to spot screaming NUKE THIS! MELEE THIS! DONT REST! DONT MOVE! WHY ISNT ANYONE LISTENING! I am Keithe. I pull and scream. God speaks through MEEEEEEEEE. Pull Keithe Pull, see Keithe pull. He isn’t that bad of a leader, but he isn’t the best either. We kill mob after mob trying to extend our time and pray that a piece of gear we want drops. We have done about 6 or 7 Dynamis' now and only 1 of the awesome foursome has received a piece we want. Dynamis usually last about 2 - 3 hours. Near the end we are tired, cranky, and conditioned to the idea that the piece we want isn’t going to drop. The only thing that keeps us awake is the idea that we may actually finish a Dynamis. We haven’t done that yet. Tonight, I had this overwhelming urge to agro as many mobs as I could, but I didn’t. I will soon though. . I am Spiyre. I am a thief. I poke things in the rump for fun.
